Welcome!

Hi everyone! My name is Lucy and I am very new to this whole blogging thing. I've wanted to start a blog for years now and have finally had the courage to do it! I thought a good place to begin is to let you know a bit about me. I can't promise this section will be all too exciting but here goes!

I am currently 19 years old, studying English Literature and English Language at York St John University. I am absolutely loving it, unfortunately the coronavirus kind of messed up the whole of my second year as I have been studying remotely but nonetheless, it's been great.

I am a huge fan of musical theatre! Mainly singing in the shower because if I ever sang on stage, the theatre would be empty before I could say Jean Valjean! That is the predominant way I spend my spare time but other than that I enjoy playing on my switch, Animal crossing and Stardew valley to be exact. And of course I enjoy reading and writing, my degree should hopefully give that away! I enjoy TV, although some may say my taste is questionable... I think its great! Shows like Friends, Schitt's creek, Modern Family etc. I am currently working my way through Parks and Recreation. Oh and of course Glee!

I don't have a strict idea of what I want to post on this blog. Most probably book related however I am open to suggestions. If anybody is interested in any of the things I've mentioned then let me know and I'll certainly write some posts about that. I also wanted to say that if you're interested in English Language I am happy to talk about that aswell, it is 50% of my degree afterall! I am also happy to talk about being a student in general. Perhaps give some tips and tricks to help those of you who are beginning University soon.
